Municipal Health Office

FUNCTION:

The Municipal health office is charged with the the delivery of basic health services which are promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative in nature.

OBJECTIVES:

• To improve the general health status of the population
• To reduce morbidity, mortality, disability and complications from diseases like pneumonia, tuberculosis, dengue etc.
• To eliminate disease as public health problem like malaria, rabies, leprosy, vaccine preventable diseases like measles, tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis

VISION:

The Health Center provides basic health services effectively and efficiently to the community, through active participation and making it accessible, sustainable to all the people of Malita.

MISSION:

The Health Center shall guarantee equitable, holistic, accessible, sustainable and quality healthcare to the people of Malita.

HUMAN RESOURCE:

To date, there are 35 plantilla positions and 4 job order with 284 barangay health workers.
